I just ran my credit report and there are several hits on it to say the least. Is it better to call the collection agencies directly and work out payment arraignments or should I call the credit consolidator people. And what is the best credit consolidator co to call?

I have 13 accounts in collections. I want to get this fixed. Should I go to a credit consolidator or should I file bankruptcy? 1 of them has a court settlement against me. I don’t know what to do. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

They told me if I use their help, I’d get lower interest rates, and get paid down faster, but my report would show negatively because I closed out the cards. Does anyone know why this would show negatively or have any other suggestions? Thanks!
