Does anyone have personal experience with a debt settlement company and was it successful?

I am looking for a business that can help with debt consolidation and settlement. I was looking at a business called Credit 911. Has anyone had any experience with them? Thanks in advance.

because I thought the credit card company may not accept the offer of 40% or 50% of the debt. . and sue in court and win a garnishment. The debt settlement gentleman on the phone said “don’t worry, less than 1% of people who sign up with us get sued”, therefore I feel everyone can [...]

I worked for a company based out of Austin who emailed and said that they were filing for bankruptcy and thus were unable to compensate me for my work, but their filing does not show up on the public record. What can I do? If I take the issue to court are there punitive damages? [...]

I owe on three credit cards. All of them under 2,000 dollars but i cannot make any payments and there all going into 3rd party collections! Help!!!
