my chapter 13 case was recently dismissed (not discharged) in december. i was about half way through my plan payments and had 2 years remaining. i stopped making my payments because i was fired from work. . . can i file chapter 7 to have the remainder of the debt from my ch. 13 ~ [...]

I filed for a chapter 7 bankruptcy on December of 2001 and it has since been discharged. I would like to know how long that bankruptcy will be on my credit report. I filed the bankruptcy in the state of Connecticut. Thanks in advance for your help.
