I also checked up some forums and found that many companies promised ‘guaranteed results’ with ‘no worries’ but in fact provided the opposite.  I heard (and knew) that there were legitimate companies out there and was determined to find out who they were. After searching far and wide on the internet for a legitimate company that would provide a free consultation for debt consolidation and really tell the truth about how it works, I found a few. Most charged a high commission (25-30% of the savings). To be honest, I wanted a free consultation for now. I also wanted a company that was honest and had great results for business debt consolidation. I only found one such company. They were efficient, gave good free advice and had no-hidden hassle.
